This project focuses on the core programme in each department and its primary aim is to be developmental in nature. It involves all members of staff who teach on it as well as a small number of enrolled students going through this programme. This will include:
  • An initial meeting between the LEAP project leader and departmental representative(s) to discuss and clarify the aims, objectives and specific needs of the department
  • An evaluation/audit of existing practices and identification of possible actions
  • An exploration and introduction of appropriate and diverse delivery and assessment methods (including the use of appropriate technology)
  • The implementation of actions arising from the evaluation/audit
  • The identification and showcasing of examples of good practice.

Signing up to take part

LEAP is available for three years and you can choose when you would like your department to participate. In order to facilitate the planning of your involvement in the LEAP project we would appreciate it if you could provide us with some information. Once you have submitted your form, Kyriaki Anagnostopoulou. Head of e-Learning and LEAP Project Leader, will be contacting you directly to book an initial meeting to discuss your department’s involvement in the LEAP project and clarify what you would like to achieve by taking part in the project. We are keen to ensure that your department benefits from as much as possible from this project. Following this initial meeting, you and all your colleagues who teach on the programme will be invited to the project’s start-up meeting which is due to take place in October 2012.
